This role sits within the senior leadership team of a global technology powerhouse, and you’ll be responsible for defining the cloud security strategy within an ever-evolving enterprise security function.  Planning and optimising security controls in a multi-cloud environment and owning the delivering of the CNAPP capability.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with the Enterprise Security, Cloud Enablement & Engineering teams, to implement, and optimise security controls in the cloud and drive delivery of CNAPP capability.

• Undertake technical assessments of existing cloud security capabilities to identify vulnerabilities and risks.  Create actionable recommendations for securing cloud solutions.

• Implement security measures for cloud-native applications, including container security and serverless architectures.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate the deployment of security controls, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Enhancing security configurations and policies aligned with the main security frameworks, including the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM) and NIST guidelines, to continuously improve cloud environments.
• Providing training and awareness programs on cloud security standards.

• In-depth multi-cloud security experience, including the implementation of strategic Cloud Security support models.
• Security tools and technologies e.g. firewalls, CNAPP, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM.
• Experience in embedding and training cloud security practices within teams
• Cloud security experience across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Superb communication skills with the ability to engage with the executive leaders
• Relevant security certifications would be desirable
