Key Information Documents (KIDs) are designed to improve the transparency of information provided to workers, particularly around pay. They include an overview of how any fees and deductions will affect the your pay throughout a supply chain.
KIDs will enable you to make a more informed decision about taking on an assignment based on how your take-home pay will be affected by Umbrella fees where applicable and other deductions.
If you are working through an Umbrella, you should receive a Key Information Document specific to you and your assignment from them so you’ll be fully appraised before signing any contract.
If you are working via a Personal Service Company (only available for Outside IR35 assignments) then Connected Consulting will pay the PSC the gross day rate quoted.
Connected Consulting does not deduct any fees from your pay rate.
