If you enjoy taking ownership for defining and executing complex cloud security strategies, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  Reporting directly to the CISO, you will help define the multi-cloud security posture, building the security solutions to align with the business, technology, and threat drivers.

What you’ll be doing  

• Leading the cloud security strategy across a large multi-cloud environment
• Create and lead the technical security strategy plan and roadmap for all environments, including cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Develop the security architecture artefacts, including models, templates, standards, and procedures.
• Establish baseline security configuration standards for operating systems, network, infrastructure etc.
• Perform security reviews, identify gaps, and develop a risk management plan.
• Undertake technical risk assessments balancing business enablement and security risk.
• Review network segmentation to ensure the least privilege for network access.

Required Skills and Experience 

• Proven commercial experience of leading and architecting multi-cloud solutions within a complex global business
• Strategic thinker who can work with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to develop the security architecture processes and strategy.
• Experience of performing security reviews, identify gaps, and develop risk management plans.
• Threat modelling and secure coding practices.
• Superb communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Cloud expertise – AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

The interview process will consist of 3 stages, comprising an interview with the team, a technical assessment, alongside a two-way Q&A.

Hybrid working places are in place for this role, with 2 days onsite (Cambridge) required each week.
