In this role as an experienced QA / Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within a friendly and creative team that develops tech to help connect millions of people globally, from Wi-Fi, TV casting, though to cloud phone services.  You’ll work with the team to help manage and configure the QA Lab, undertaking software and network testing to identify defects, assess performance, and ensure reliability and security.

 Responsibilities

  • Test Case Development: Create and execute test cases based on product / feature requirements
  • Manual Testing: Undertake manual testing across different platforms (web, mobile, etc.), identifying bugs, user issues, and product quality
  • Networking Tests: Undertake low-level networking-related tests, e.g. checking connectivity, IP configurations, and network performance
  • Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to ensure that recent changes have not adversely affected existing functionality
  • Defect Tracking: Report, track, and validate defects in the defect tracking system, ensuring they are resolved before the product release
  • Requirement Analysis: Work with the team (product managers, developers, QA engineers) to understand the main product requirements and design the relevant test plans
  • Test Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defects

About you

  •  3+ years commercial manual testing experience across the full testing lifecycle (essential)
  • Networking experience e.g. DHCP, RADIUS, TCP and UDP. (essential)
  • Knowledge of Linux/Networking/security technologies (essential)
  • Experience of working with different test methodologies (essential)
  • Exposure to wireless technologies, controllers, access points, cisco, Meraki etc (nice to have)
  • Other experience: SQL, Jira, Jenkins, Gitlab source control (nice to have)

 Work Policy 

Please note that due to the testing requirements within the QA lab, candidates must be prepared to work onsite in Tralee, Ireland for 2-3 days per week.  Subsequently, candidates must have the ability to work without restriction in Ireland. Sponsorship cannot be provided.
