The software engineering team (currently 20+) is growing but I should forewarn you that this role won’t appeal to everyone.  If you want to work with clearly defined requirements, in a controlled and structured environment, then this won’t be the role for you.  We’re looking for curious Software Engineers, who are not fazed by working with unstructured requirements, and enjoy taking ownership of the design and build of solutions using the .NET tech stack.  If this sounds good to you, then please read on!

Working within a squad you will help to build Azure cloud .NET applications, covering both UK and European operations.  As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll know your key duties – writing, testing, and maintaining code etc; but your duties will also extend to driving a collaborative DevOps culture and contributing to tech discussions including the future direction of the tech stack.

The main tech stack required is .NET, Azure (Functions, Service Bus), together with JS frameworks like React and Next.JS.  If you have tonnes of experience using these skills, then of course we would love to hear from you!

Lastly, do you undertake your best work from home or in the office? The hiring manager is open to different working models, some of the team work remote and will attend ad-hoc team meets, whilst others prefer to work in the office where they can high-five their work colleagues and mock their tea making skills.  Either way, the manager wants to create an environment where you’re happy and can produce your best quality work.

The Interview process is typically 2-3 stages, comprising of an interview with the team, a technical interview, and a two-way Q&A.
