What makes a great Verification Engineer..?   You know that you need to be technically strong, with the ability to understand constrained random and model-based verification, able to embed the latest hardware design, together with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to prioritise high value features.

Every organisation treats verification differently, our client sees Verification as a true specialism, and that is reflected in their standards and quality of work produced. They’re not interested in simple bug finding Verification Engineers, standards are high within the business, and continuous improvement is actively encouraged.

If you love verification and want to employ the latest hardware design and verification methodologies to develop complex GPU IP, then please read on!

What will I be doing?

You will play an important role in the development and deployment of methodologies as well as direct hands-on test bench development, including implementing GLES, OpenGL, Vulkan APIs into verification scenarios; reusing verification IP and building new verification environments; and debugging sophisticated IP using scripts and waveforms, including understanding CPU Tarmac outputs.

Required skills and experience

You’ll be expected to have experience with constrained-random verification including ownership of the verification environment and an ability to use SystemVerilog to develop verification components and develop the test benches across the full verification process.

  • Experience developing re-usable and scalable code, with a good knowledge of UVM
  • Excellent SystemVerilog skills for verification of complex design IP
  • Ability to architect and implement functional verification environments for complex IP
  • Scripting skills e.g., unix shell scripts, Python or Perl
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of GPU/graphics principles would be nice to have.

Interview Process

There will be a two-stage process in place, comprising of a first interview with some technical questions, followed by a second stage that will involve a deeper technical assessment, alongside a two-way Q&A.

Finally,

We would love to hear from Verification professionals from across the globe and will happily consider applications from candidates who require sponsorship. Both sponsorship and relocation support can be provided if required.
