The role of the Partner Manager IoT

Playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with strategic clients, you will work closely with partners addressing enquires and finding fit for purpose solutions. Partners include global mobile network operators, hardware vendors, SAAS Solution providers and other IoT Vendors.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic long-term trusting relationships with key clients to achieve growth and long-term company objectives
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Attend commercial and operational stakeholder meetings/reviews and ensure full governance
  • Manage, track and analyse key account metrics including service levels, contract performance profitability etc
  • Undertake contract and service reviews with key clients to ensure alignment with expectations and identify areas for improvement
  • Drive client retention, renewals, upsells/cross-sells and client satisfaction
  • Proactively identify and pursue additional business opportunities within client accounts
  • Manage contract change requests and deliver high quality responses/pricing/proposals
  • Attend relevant industry exhibitions, forums, seminars, trades shows, awards and events
  • Assist in the preparation and follow up process of onboarding new clients
  • Plan and identify marketing campaigns to effectively engage with target audience

Key Skills / Experience Required

  • Proven commercial experience as a Partner / Relationship Manager within IoT and/or Connectivity
  • Confident communicator who can help create a better experience with partners
  • Ability to handle a network of external partners, with different priorities
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills
  • A strong team player who can collaborate on diverse projects
  • Technical know-how around IoT / Connectivity with the ability to be able to understand you’re your partners’ technology can integrate with your own
  • Current UK driving licence
